Harm Reduction Workshop and Narcan Training, YPR-Adams County, CO

YPR Chapters host workshops that are free and open to all members of the community. These workshops are based on either teaching and exhibiting tangible skills, or creating a stronger understanding of a certain topic.
We will learn about some resources and strategies that can help make sure you:
• Understand what are opioids
• Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
• Explain the steps to respond to an overdose, including stimulation and emergency response
• Explain how to administer nasal naloxone (Narcan) to a person who is experiencing an overdosing
• Discuss strategies for supporting a person after they have experienced an overdose
