Chapter Life

The Winchester Chapter of YPR aims to provide a space for all people in recovery, seeking recovery, those who have been affected by addiction, and those who support the recovery lifestyle. We hope to create a space where everyone can find support, understanding and encouragement through our weekly All Recovery Meetings. These meetings focus on various topics and create safe and open conversations in finding solutions and support.

We also believe that fellowship and fun are a necessary part of the recovery lifestyle. Inclusion is one of YPRs core values. Our prosocial activities promote and create a fellowship amongst those in recovery, seeking recovery, and their recovery allies. These are free activities that are open to everyone and help develop lasting relationships.
Winchester also aims to provide educational opportunities to our community as well as those in and seeking recovery. We host various workshops throughout the year to educate and empower the recovery community as well as the general public. These workshops help foster learning and understanding in ways that encourages the community at large to advocate and support issues that affect people in or seeking long-term recovery.

Winchester-YPR Chapter hopes to influence and support the Recovery Community. By sharing our lived experiences and recovering out loud we can help others realize that Recovery is possible. We welcome anyone and everyone to join us, no matter their path to recovery. Everyone is welcome. Everyone has a place at this table. We hope to see you soon!
