Welcome to Young People in Recovery (YPR), Morgan County Chapter

Welcome to YPR-Morgan County, where individuals of all ages, recovery pathways, and walks of life are welcome and celebrated! At the Morgan County Chapter of Young People in Recovery, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for anyone in or seeking recovery, as well as allies of the recovery community.

At YPR, we envision a world where everyone has the resources they need to thrive in recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. All of our recovery support services are offered free to people in or seeking recovery and their allies.

Our events include:

All Recovery Meetings
We provide a safe space for people from all recovery pathways to come together and find support. No matter your recovery journey, you’re welcome here.

Pro-Social Events
Hosted both in person and virtually, our pro-social events bring people together for activities such as film screenings, community outings, game nights, guided meditation circles, and positive affirmation groups. We encourage new ideas from our members, so your input is always welcome!

Life Skills Training Workshops
Our workshops are designed to educate, empower, and amplify the voices of the recovery community. We offer a ten-lesson life skills curriculum to support personal growth and development.

Harm Reduction Education
We provide training on how to identify and respond to an overdose, along with free access to naloxone, fentanyl testing strips, and other harm reduction supplies. These supplies are available to everyone in the community to help keep people safe and prevent overdoses.
